If you ask Adrian Peterson, he believes he will be the starting running back of the Washington Redskins. Adrian will have to compete with Samaje Perine and Chris Thompson for touches, and potentially Rob Kelly. All three running backs have had healthy problems in the past, as has Adrian Peterson. AP’s season was cut short last season due to a neck injury. Those type of disk injuries could be scary. If Adrian Peterson can be half or even three quarters of his old self. I believe Adrian Peterson can be the starter for the Redskins.

If Adrian Peterson were to start for the Redskins he would be a low end running back two in fantasy football. This would make him a ninth or tenth round draft pick in a ten team league. As we say, when it comes to fantasy football, do your homework and keep in touch with the media. He could be a nice fill in if he makes the team as the new starter in Washington.
