Welcome Back, Kurt Suzuki

Kurt Suzuki is back with the Nationals. Mark Feinsand has reported that the Nats have agreed to terms with the catcher, who was with the team between 2012-2013. He has since played for the Athletics, Twins, and Braves. The 35-year old will be joining the Nationals for two years for an undisclosed amount of money.

When Suzuki was here during his first stint, he had a .239 batting average, hit eight home runs, and 50 RBI. Last season, he was .271, hit twelve home runs, and had 50 RBI.

Nats fans should be happy as this might be a HUGE upgrade from Matt Wieters, Pedro Severino, and Spencer Kieboom.
