Washington Nationals Draft Pick
With the 27th pick in the 2018 MLB Draft, the Washington Nationals selected Mason Denaburg, a 6’3, 190 lb right handed pitcher from Merritt Island, Florida. Denaburg was the first pitcher selected by Washington out of high school since Lucas Giolito in 2012.
Denaburg features a fastball which he can throw upwards of 97 mph, and was originally committed to the University of Florida, but opted to go pro instead. Welcome to the Nats Mason!
