Washington Capitals Win Game Four Against the Columbus Blue Jackets

Just like the captain predicted the Washington Capitals will be heading back to D.C. with the series now tied after dominating the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1.

Braden Holtby is officially back after his dominating performance stopping 23 shots and looked like the all-star he is. He came up big when needed, challenged every shot he faced and look confident in his game.

In my opinion the best players on the ice tonight besides Holtby was Tom Wilson and Evgeny Kuznetsov. Wilson started with the first goal of the game with a rocket of a slap shot from the point. He was hitting everything that moved around him, drew penalties and also had an assist finishing the night at a +3.

Kuznetsov was a dominant force defensively and controlled the puck so well tonight it reminded me of a young Pavel Datsyuk! He finished the night with a goal and two assist and made a lot of great defensive plays using his stick to take the puck away from Blue Jacket forwards.

All I know is the Washington Capitals are officially back! Game five is Saturday at 3:00PM. Will the Capitals continue there hot momentum and finish the Blue Jackets? Who knows, but this level of play the Capitals are playing with is showing a lot of grit, heart and could possibly lift the D.C. sports curse.
