Washington Capitals engraving on the Stanley cup and Ring Ceremony

Last night, the Washington Capitals celebrated in a private party the engraving of the team’s name on the Stanley cup. In this ceremony, they also received their Championship Jostens’ diamond ring and and their wives got necklaces. The 14-karat ring features 252 diamonds, 35 rubies and a star-shaped sapphire. The Stanley cup had a new band added to feature all the names of the 2017-2018 Washington Capitals since the cup didn’t have any more space to fit the Champions. The top band, that feature the listing of the 1953–54 to 1964–65 winners was retire to add the new band. This new band that will list the 2017–18 to 2029–30 champions.
