Washington Capitals recall Nathan Walker from Hershey Bears

With Andre Burakovsky now out week-to-week the Washington Capitals have recalled Nathan Walker from the Hershey Bears.

The Capitals start their second round series against the Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow and the recall is to add more depth incase an injury happens.

Walker started the year on the Capitals and appeared in seven games with one goal. Walker also became the first Australian to play in the NHL this year.

Walker appeared in 40 games for the Hershey Bears this year producing 22 points. If Walker appears in the playoffs for the Capitals it’s because he is a fast player with a lot of grit, and can play a good physical game.
