Towson Tigers look to continue winning ways vs New Hampshire

The Towson Tigers football team got off to a hot start beating the Morgan State Bears 31 to 0. The Tigers will face their first CAA opponent tonight on the road against New Hampshire. New Hampshire is coming off a 27 to 21 win against Stony Brook.

Tigers starting quarterback Chris Ferguson hopes to improve upon his first start. Against Morgan State Ferguson went 20-33 for 269 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.

Towson’s defense will be a key to victory, after a shutout victory the Tigers will face a tougher offense with New Hampshire. The Towson defense only allowed 79 passing yards and 63 rushing yards against the Bears.

This early in the season it is hard to tell off one game who will have the upper hand in tonight’s matchup but the MEAC is considered a weaker division than the CAA.

This should be a great matchup tonight, at 6pm in New Hampshire.
