Towson Begins CAA Play with Trip to Villanova

The Towson Tigers Football team will finally get to see how they stack up against conference opponents as they travel up I-95 North to take on Villanova. Last week, the Tigers fell to Wake Forest 51-20. Towson hung around for a while against a decent FBS opponent and QB Tom Flacco looked sharp early.

Villanova will prove to be another tough road test for the Tigers. Villanova is ranked #10 in STATS FCS and the Coaches poll’s, while the Tigers remain unranked. If the Towson offense remains as effective as they were in their previous outings, I like their chances of pulling off the upset.

My Prediction: Tom Flacco and the Tigers pull off a last second drive to win 27-24.
