Lehigh Valley Phantoms (15-7-1-2) at Hershey Bears (11-11-0-3)

The AHL Capital blue cross outdoor classic in Hershey Park Stadium is still over a month away. Today the stadium is being used by the PIAA for state championship football. Nearby Middletown is playing against Quaker, but tonight the Hershey Bears take on the rival Lehigh-Valley Phantoms just one night after falling 5-4 in regulation to these same Phantoms. The Phantoms have now won two straight games against the Bears. Tonight’s contest starts a four-game homestand for the Bears.

The starting goaltender for tonight looks to be Vitek Vanecek for the Bears.

Tomorrow the Bears finish out the weekend with a home game to their rivals from up I-81 the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins. That game is a 5pm start at the Giant Center.
