Top Five Baltimore Ravens to Watch Week Three Pre-Season
1: Max Williams. With Hayden Hurst being sidelined with a foot injury for the next four weeks Max Williams is next on the depth chart. Williams wants to prove why he was a second round pick in 2015. Williams hasn’t been as productive as the Ravens thought he would be, but injuries have held him back, and now that he’s healthy he wants to show he can be a contributor in the NFL.
2:Marlon Humphrey. With an unexpected suspension to Jimmy Smith being missing for the first four games of the season Humphrey will take Jimmys spot as the number one cornerback. Humphrey had a great rookie season last year and last years first round pick will have the opportunity to show everyone that he can be one of the best cornerbacks in the league.
3: Robert Griffin III. The Ravens made it clear that Lamar Jackson is the future of the Ravens, but what will the Ravens do with RGIII? Jackson has the lowest completion percentage out of all the rookies so far in preseason, and RGIII has looked great in the preseason. Only question is will the Ravens keep three quarterbacks on the roster? RGIII is playing for a roster spot to be Flacco’s backup incase if Flacco gets hurt because RGIII is a more ready quarterback than Jackson since Jackson has a lot to learn with his throwing mechanics.
4: Kenny Young. Young has had a phenomenal preseason so far and this years fourth round pick could be a starter week one. He’s competing for the second middle linebacker position between Patrick Onwuasor. Young has a lot of potential to be a great player in the league and is ready to showcase his skills with more playing time tomorrow night.
5: Breshard Perriman. Perriman has a great game last week and showed his true potential as a first round pick a few years ago. Ravens fans have labeled Perriman as a first round bust since he hasn’t played a full season yet, but is still fighting for a roster spot on the team. Perriman will have a lot of opportunities with the second string offense tomorrow night.
