Things the Ravens need to do in the second half

351px-Jameel_McClain_2011_stadium_practiceThe Baltimore Ravens are coming off their bye week and will have a big division game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.  The Ravens need to improve on a few areas if they want to get back into the playoffs for a chance to repeat.

First of all I think I have beat this to death but the offensive line needs to improve.  The line played alright against the Pittsburgh Steelers but has been one of the leagues worst lines.  With that the Ravens need to run the ball better but like the saying goes it all starts up front.  Ray Rice really needs to break more tackles as well.

I do not think that Joe Flacco and the receivers are the issue.  Having a stable tight end has been missing but the Ravens should be getting back tight end Dennis Pitta at some point in the second half which will greatly booster their passing game.

The defense has been great this year but needs to force more three and outs.  The secondary has improved throughout the season.  Getting over used has been a big problem for the Ravens defense late in games.  Against the Steelers and Green Bay Packers.

The Ravens schedule is not easy in the second half but it is not too difficult with four division games still left the Ravens have a great chance to get back into the playoffs.  As of now the best team the Ravens will face in the second half is the New England Patriots.
