The Stanley Cup Is Coming To South Carolina
The Washington Capitals ECHL affiliate has announced that the Stanley Cup will be on display on opening day.
On Saturday, October 20th, the iconic trophy will be in North Charleston, South Carolina for the opening night of the 2018-2019 season.
Former Stingrays players Pheonix Copley, Philipp Grubauer, Braden Holtby and Nathan Walker were all members of the championship Capitals team from last season. It was the first time in franchise history that the Capitals won the cup.
