The Spider Ready To Weave Yet Another Web
Dana White has been an insanely busy man as of late. Who will Ngannou fight Dana? Who will Conor McGregor fight Dana? Dana any idea who is next for Daniel Cormier? What about for Cain Velasquez Dana? When is Brock Lesnar fighting again Dana? Look I love Dana and think he does one helluva job. Right now his freaking head has to be spinning like a “Wanted Dead Or Alive” song. Amidst all the G-forces and all the swirling rumors and questions he manages to throw us all a curve ball.
Dana did indeed announce a fight today. UFC president added to the UFC 237 card in Brazil. Wait, it wasn’t any of the names I mentioned above so take a step back. Dana shocked everyone when he released the fight between these two men. Anderson “The Spider” Silva vs. Jared Cannonier at UFC 237 in Brazil. Silva is coming off a huge loss to Israel Adesanya less than two weeks ago. Silva who held the UFC middleweight title for almost 7 years comes into this fight at 34-9. Cannonier known as”Tha Killa Gorilla” almost 10 years younger than Silva is 11-4 and coming off a second round TKO of David Branch.
While Dana still has a plethora of questions flying towards him he certainly answered this one. Silva should have a solid shot at getting back on track in this one. However he has to be ready for a fight as everyone wants to make a name for themselves at “The Spiders” expense
