Team USA falls 1-0 to Jamaica

Audi Field in Washington, D.C. was the stage for international soccer on Wednesday night.

The backdrop of the Washington monument and US Capitol was perfect for the country’s national team. However the result was not all the more memorable, as Jamaica shutout USA 1-0.

The first half was scoreless, but Jamaica was getting the good chances early on. Nothing just went through. But Jamaica kept pushing in the second half, and in the 60th minute they scored on a goal from Shamar Nicholson.

The US Men’s National Team will be back in action in Cincinnati for a friendly against Venezuela in their final match before the Gold Cup.
