Does Ortiz think he is bigger than the game?

Ortizpoint.jpgThe Boston Red Sox are in last place in the American League East,  nothing really to show boat about.  While doing my normal stat search and sports research I came across this article.  The article is about the recent Tampa Bay Rays and Red Sox series.  Apparently, David Ortiz did yet another bat flip to show up the Rays after hitting a home run.  Read more about Does Ortiz think he is bigger than the game?

Orioles lineup at the Rays game two

wpid-2014-06-13-00-18-48-1116174156.jpegThe Baltimore Orioles play the Tampa Bay Rays in the second game of a three game series.  The Orioles lost last night five to four to the Rays, in a game the Orioles should have and could have won.  The Orioles really need to win the next two games of this series as the Rays are one of the worst teams in the league and are really struggling.  Losing this series would be awful for the Orioles.

Miguel Gonzalez will be coming off the disabled list to make the start tonight.  I will post the roster move when it is announced.

The Baltimore Orioles start a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays tonight.  T.J. McFarland is back with the team and is expected to be activated, no word yet as to who is going to be sent down.  Chris Tillman will look to get back to form, he has had three straight below average to bad outings.  Tillman has had bad luck with weather and other factors.

It is odd that Steve Clevenger is catching today and Matt Wieters is DHing even though the Orioles are coming off an off day.

Here is the lineup from Brittany Ghiroli’s tweet.

Orioles Rays game postponed (no double header)

The Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays game for tonight has been postponed, according to Brittany Ghiroli.  It has been raining all day and the weather radar looks bad for tonight.  I will have a video blog up later for you guys since there will be no game tonight.

It looks like the Orioles and Rays could have a double header tomorrow, it would be the Orioles first double header of the season.

UPDATE: The Orioles will not be playing a double header tomorrow.
