Survive and Advance: Terps Beat Cornell in Thriller

The NCAA Tournament is the most exciting time of the year in any collegiate sport. Maryland and Cornell showed why on Saturday afternoon, as the Terps scored with 2 seconds left to defeat the Big Red 8-7.

Cornell got off to a quick start, as the Big Red scored four unanswered goals to get a quick lead. Mike Chanenchuk scored Maryland’s first goal in the middle of the second quarter, but that is all the Terps could get in the first half.
