browns redskinsWhen I was growing up I remember often hearing after a non-call in a game that a penalty could be called on every play from scrimmage so sometimes the refs would just have to let things go. Apparently, the new adage is a penalty could be called on every play, so call that penalty. Yellow flags littered the field to start the Monday night match-up between the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Browns which really prevented the development of any sort of rhythm or flow to the game. Can Alfred Morris stay productive?

The Washington Redskins have relied on their running backs for many years. In 2012 the Redskins selected Alfred Morris in the sixth round. In his first two seasons Morris had over 1,000 yards in each season and 20 total touchdowns in his career. The last two years Morris has the second most rushing yards only behind Adrian Peterson.  After becoming a well known player in his rookie year Morris made his first Pro Bowl in the 2013-14 season. Jackson to Washington: Splash or Crash?

20140329-145700.jpgDeSean Jackson’s free agency crash course has now come to an end. After less than a week after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson has found a new home in the nations capital. From the moment he was released, several teams showed high interest in him, notably the Bills and Raiders, with Washington being the front runners.

A few days before his signing, he had what you could call a faithful meeting with RG3 in LA. Griffin, along with many other players for Washington seemed to show a strong interest as well in their long time rival.
