Stinson outrighted to Norfolk, Patton reinstated

The Baltimore Orioles have outrighted Josh Stinson to Triple-A Norfolk and reinstated Troy Patton.  Stinson has already cleared waivers.

I was not impressed by Stinson and he was used mostly in garbage time.  Stinson had a 7.15 era in seven games for the Orioles.

Patton is finished serving his 25-game suspension and will pitch out of the bullpen.  The Orioles now have three lefties in the bullpen Zach Britton, Brian Matusz and Patton.

Here is the Orioles press release on the move.
