Salisbury Men’s Basketball team played a conference game Wednesday night against the St. Mary’s (Md) Seahawks.
The Seagulls easily defeated the (2-12) Seahawks with a final score of 73-50. Lead by guard Blair Davis with a team high 18 points.
This game got out of hand quickly as the Seagulls opened on a 21 to 7 point run in the first 10 minutes of the first half. At the end of the half the Seagulls were up 44 to 22.
The game never really got close. Scoring from the Salisbury bench really made the difference. The Seagulls got 14 points from Gary Briddel on only 16 minutes played and 11 points from Jordan Brooks on 21 minutes played.
The Seagulls are now (9-5) on the season and (5-2) in conference play.
Salisbury next game will be on January 13th at 3pm against the (7-7) Southern Virginia Knights.
