RIP To the Earl of Baltimore

I know I am late on this story but I just wanted to say a few words on Earl Weaver who passed away yesterday.  I was not born during Weaver’s managerial career but I can say I have seen him at Camden Yards during many reunions and I know of the legend.

When it comes to the Baltimore Orioles I love to read up on the history of the team.  Reading about the past glory days was the only thing that gave me hope and comfort that one day the Orioles would be great again during their long over a decade losing season streak.

I will always consider Weaver one of the father’s of the Baltimore Orioles, he led some of the greatest Orioles teams in history.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
