Richard Sherman launching a daily fantasy site called “Daily Number”
Former Seahawk and curent 49er’s corner back Richard Sherman is launching a brand new daily fantasy site called “Daily Number”. The site will be launched in 23 states where gambling is legal and will be for paid fun. Sherman along with Tom McAuley have co-founded the “Daily Number”. The two are looking to create a big opportunity in the world of fantasy sports.
Many NFL stars have endorsed fantasy football sites, but Sherman is believed to be one of the first, to have a founding stake in a fantasy game.
According to ESPN.com “Daily Number features a unique twist on traditional fantasy, with entrants creating seven-player rosters that attempt to eclipse a predetermined total amount of fantasy points. These points will be set by the site and known as the “daily number.” Each roster is given a rating. The more superstars on a roster the lower the payout is for teams that score more points than the daily number.”
The idea is on any specific day there will be a “daily number”chosen. The object is to choose a mixture of higher rated and lower rated NFL players to try and beat that number. If you chose all top tier NFL stars and you beat the number your payout will be minimal. If you choose a mix, and beat the number your payout will grow.
Richard Sherman announced Thursday that his new fantasy site, Daily Number, will be launching paid contests in 23 states.https://t.co/ACWFW5tzkO
