Report: Ravens to announce a four-year extension to kicker Justin Tucker worth $23.05 million.

New Baltimore Ravens general manager, Eric DeCosta has made it a point in his short tenure to make sure to lock up the key players on the team to extensions.

On Wednesday, the day before the NFL Draft, the Ravens are giving kicker Justin Tucker a new four-year deal worth, $23.05 million, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal includes $12.5 million fully guaranteed in the first two-years and an $8 million signing bonus, per Schefter’s source. Which means the NFL’s most accurate kicker just became the leagues highest-paid kicker.

The Ravens posted a tweet a little bit ago announcing a 2:30 p.m. press conference regarding news about a player. Not long after the news that it was Tucker started to leak.

Tucker, 29, has made 263 field goals and the two-time pro bowler has also made 241 extra points.  (35 and 36 in 2018).

Early in the week the Ravens announced they had picked up the fifth year option on left tackle, Ronnie Stanley, who the Ravens took in the first-round with the sixth overall pick in the 2016 Draft.

The Ravens also re-signed QB Robert Griffin III, TE Nick Boyle, OL Marshall Yanda, and CB Tavon Young this offseason to extensions.

MSB will have more after the afternoon press conference from One Winning Drive which will be aired LIVE the team’s Facebook account.
