Redskins Roster Moves Continue

The Washington Redskins announced today the signing of two free agents to their practice squad: offensive lineman, Braxton Cave and linebacker, Jackson Jeffcoat.

Cave, a second year player out of Notre Dame, spent the 2013 season on the New England Patriots’ practice squad and spent the 2014 offseason with the team before being waived on August 30.

Jeffcoat was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as a college free agent out of the University of Texas in May and was released on August 25.

To make room for Cave and Jeffcoat, the Redskins released linebacker, Chaz Sutton and offensive lineman, Tevita Stevens.
