Redskins Fall To Broncos 29-17

It was not the best night for the Washington Redskins as they wrapped up the home portion of their preseason tonight against the Denver Broncos.

Denver jumped out to a 10-0 lead through the first quarter and continued their domination all game long eventually taking a lead as big as 26-3 before Kevin Hogan staged a late rally, going 7-9 for 88 yards and 2 touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough as the Redskins fell 29-17 for their second loss of the preseason.

A main focal point going into this game was the performance of Adrian Peterson, and AP did not disappoint in his Redskins debut. Peterson racked up 56 yards in 11 carries, including a spectacular run on a fourth and short.

However, the defense in general did not impress. Broncos quarterback Case Keenum tote through the Washington defense for 148 yards.

Redskins will conclude the preseason this Thursday in Baltimore against the Ravens.
