Redskins Expect To Sign Paul Richardson
According to Mike Garafolo (a NFL insider) the Redskins are expected to sign ex Seahawks WR Paul Richardson to a five-year, $40 million deal with $20 million in guarantees. The deal will not be official until Wednesday March 13, 2018 at 4 P.M. EST.
The Redskins were in dire need to add another WR to their roster for new QB Alex Smith to excel in their offense, and Paul Richardson may just do the trick. Richardson is a deep threat receiver with some serious speed and will work well lining up across from Josh Doctson. Last season Richardson recorded 703 yards off 44 receptions averaging just about 16 yards per catch.
Richardson’s strengths include stretching the field vertically, creating separation from DB’s, and is capable of making the spectacular grab. Richardson was a top target for the Redskins this off season and they are glad to land him.
