Recap: Orioles Sweep the Blue Jays

After an eight-game losing streak, the Baltimore Orioles turned it around with a three-game sweep of the visiting Toronto Blue Jays.

Andrew Cobb was the Oriole’s starting pitcher, with a line of: 5.2 innings pitched, eight hits, five earned runs, walked two, struck out four.

On offense, Trey Mancini was back at it putting up two hits in five at-bats; one of which was his 20th homerun of the season.

Captain Adam Jones added his 14th homerun of the season to the scoreboard as well; was a grand slam (second of his career), and ended the night with five RBIs.

Austin Wynns had an exceptional night, collecting two hits in three at bats. In the eighth inning, he hit a sacrifice bunt but due to a throwing error he made it to second base, and driving in John Andreoli.
