Recap: D.C. United 2, Toronto FC 2

On a hot Saturday evening at Audi Field, D.C. United and Toronto FC played to a 2-2 draw.

Edison Flores scored his first goal of the season in the seventh minute of the game to put the Black and Red up 1-0.

Ayo Akinola tied it in the 36th minutes. 1-1 would be the score at the half.

In the 56th minute D.C. United retook the lead with a goal from Michael Estrada.

Jonathan Osorio would tie it in the 89th minute ensuring both clubs would come away with a point.

D.C. United is now 11th ranked in the Eastern Conference with just 14 points. The good news is there is still plenty of season left and they’re two points behind that seventh and final playoff spot. So there’s time.

D.C. United takes on the New York Red Bulls on the road this Saturday.
