Ravens waive Mellette and Hamilton

The Baltimore Ravens made a semi-surprising move today by waiving Aaron Mellette and Adrian Hamilton. Mellette and Hamilton have struggled to recover from knee injuries but i am still surprised that the Ravens are waiving them so early.
Mellette was a seventh-round draft pick in 2013 and had a very impressive preseason for the Ravens last year. Mellette made the team out of training camp but never played before being placed on injured reserve.
Hamilton was a long shot to make the Ravens roster and I guess the Ravens want more healthy bodies during their mini camps.
