Ravens sign Ihedigbo cut Gorrer
The Baltimore Ravens have announce that they have signed safety James Ihedigbo and cut Danny Gorrer. Gorrer has been solid for the Ravens, they will hope he clears waivers so that they can sign him to the practice squad. Ihedigbo has more starting experience than Gorrer. James Ihedigbo: Ihedigbo was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the New York Jets in 2007. He has played in 53 career games (12 starts), seeing action in 37 for New York and in 16 with the New England Patriots last season (when he made all 12 starts). Ihedigbo has posted 45 career tackles, including five sacks.

Dennis Dixon: Dixon was originally selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Seeing action in four career games (two starts), he has completed 35 of 59 passes for 402 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Dixon has also rushed 10 times for 56 yards and one touchdown.
Dixon started against the Ravens on 11/29/09, when he completed 12 of 26 passes for 145 yards, one touchdown and one interception, also rushing for a 24-yard touchdown. The Ravens won that game, 20-17, in overtime.
