Ravens sign Floyd cut two others

The Baltimore Ravens have signed veteran receiver Michael Floyd, the Ravens announced today. The Ravens also announced that they have cut QB Jalan McClendon and DT Kalil Morris.

Floyd was originally drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the 12th overall pick in the 2012 draft out of Notre Dame. Floyd most recently played for the Washington Redskins in 2018 where he ten receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Floyd is a veteran wide receiver that can play if he is healthy. Floyd is still only 29 years old and could get his career back on track in Baltimore.

The Ravens have tons of youth in their wide receiver core adding a savvy veteran may be a good idea. There are no guarantees Floyd makes the Ravens final roster.

Here is the Ravens press release.
