The Baltimore Ravens have brought back linebacker Prescott Burgess and cut backup offensive tackle Mark LeVoir, according to this tweet by Aaron Wilson.
Ravens waive offensive tackle Mark LeVoir to create roster spot for LB Prescott Burgess
LeVoir was signed to a one-year deal by the Ravens during training camp. He started at guard against the Tennessee Titans and was inactive against the Houston Texans.
Burgess is a hard hitting linebacker who is in his fifth season. Known mostly for his special teams play he has been signed and released several times since being drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2007 draft.
I have always like Burgess as a linebacker, he is big and hits hard. He is a very good special teams player.
