Ravens report card: The offense 10/12/2014

http://usatq.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/joe-flacco-e1385398581247.jpgBaltimore Ravens beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 48 to 17 in a game that was over in the first quarter. The offense will be getting a straight A rating as they were nearly perfect for the first half.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco finished the day with a 146.0 quarterback rating, that should say it all. Flacco had five touchdowns in the first half and the Ravens were on cruise control until then. This was a career day for Flacco who could have had a historical day if the Ravens kept the pressure on. Grade A++

Running backs:
Justin Forsett had over 100 yards rushing and looked quick yet again. Forsett had a huge 52 yard run at the beginning of the game to set the tempo for the game. Bernard Pierce had a touchdown as well. Grade A

Receivers:
Torrey Smith had the Ravens first two touchdowns and seems to have gotten back on the right page. Steve Smith Sr. had another huge game and a 56-yard touchdown. Michael Campanaro and Kamar Aiken also had touchdown receptions. Crockett Gillmore had a good game as well. Just about every Ravens receiver got the ball. Grade A+

Offensive Line: The Ravens leaned on the right side with Marshal Yanda and it worked. The line had some penalties but with two rookies on the left side the Ravens could not have asked for more. Grade A

Overall: Amazing game by the Ravens offense that put up 28 points in the first quarter. Grade A
