Ravens report card: 12/21/2014

The Baltimore Ravens fell to the Houston Texans 25 to 13 in a game in which the Ravens offense barely did anything. The Ravens had a few injuries and the offensive line was dominated by JJ Watt.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco had one of the worst games I have ever seen him play. Flacco was under constant pressure and even when he had time he missed throws. Flacco only completed three passes in the first half. Flacco threw three interceptions and can be blamed for two of them. A 41.7 quarterback rating describes it all. Flacco was missing on throws that he normally makes. Odd off day. Grade E

Running backs: The Ravens offensive line gave the running game no holes. The Ravens rushers only managed 33 total yards on the ground with an average of 2.1 yards per carry. Grade E

Receivers: Torrey Smith despite playing hurt was one of the few bright spots for the Ravens. Smith had five receptions including two touchdowns. Steve Smith Sr. also had five receptions. Flacco did not give this unit many chances to make plays. Grade D

Offensive line: I do not know whose idea it was to leave Watt unblocked or with only one blocker but it happened. Watt dominated the Ravens offensive line and it was one of the worst games they had all season. Losing Eugene Monroe and Ricky Wagner did not help. Grade E

Overall: The Ravens needed this win and the entire offense did not show up. Pathetic performance by the Ravens offense. Grade E
