Ravens report card: 12/17/2017

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns 27 to 10 in a must win game for the Ravens.  The Ravens looked good on all sides of the ball.  Sam Koch was also a stand out.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco had a solid game, even though his number do not stand out he had a very complete game.  Flacco completed 26 out of 42 of his passes for 288 yards and a touchdown.  Flacco also had a rushing touchdown.  No mistakes by Flacco.  Grade A

Running backs: Alex Collins struggled to find holes in this game and rested late after getting hurt.  Collins only had 19 rushing yards but Buck Allen made up for it with 70 yards.  Grade B

Receivers:  Breshad Perriman was active and made a catch.  Jeremy Maclin left the game hurt after making a catch for 22 yards.   Mike Wallace constinues to be the Ravens best receiver, he had six catches for 89 yards.  Ben Watson also had four catches and a touchdown.  Chris Moore dropped an easy pass.  Grade B

Offensive line: The offensive line struggled to make running lanes until late in the game.  Flacco was pressured several times and sacked once.  Still this unit continues to improve.  Grade B

Defensive line:  The Ravens had just two sacks but one of them really counted.  The Ravens caused a sack fumble which Brandon Williams recovered for his first career touchdown.  Browns still had way too many rushing yards.  Grade C+

Linebackers.  Matthew Judon really stood out today.  Judon had a sack and three tackles for loss.  CJ Mosley had three pass defensed.  This unti was solid.  Grade B

Secondary: Eric Weddle and Brandon Carr both had interceptions.  The Ravens secondary played much better.  Marlon Humphrey was solid as usual.  Grade A

Special Teams: Sam Koch had three punts within the five yard line.  Justin Tucker was perfect on the day.  Ravens overall played fantastic special teams.

Coaching staff: The coaching staff had the Ravens ready to take care of business on the road after a tough loss.  Grade B

Overall: The Ravens played great and look playoff bound.
