Ravens report card: 11/19/2017

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Green Bay Packers 23 to 0 in a game dominated by the Ravens defense.  The Ravens defense forced five turnovers and pitched their third shut out of the season.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco had a decent game, Flacco had a touchdown pass and a bad interception.  Flacco was pressured and did not have time to make plays.  Flacco was under constant pressure and was sacked three times.  Grade B

Running backs:  Alex Collins had his first career touchdown late in the game.  The Ravens got Danny Woodhead back and he made some big third down plays.  The Ravens barely rushed for 50 yards and lacked running holes.  Grade C

Receivers: The Ravens finally benched Breshad Perriman and let Jeremy Maclin and Mike Wallace make plays.  Wallace had a touchdown and four receptions.  Ben Watson had the biggest play for the Ravens on a 33 yard reception.  Grade B

Offensive line: The offensive line was without Ronney Stanley and it showed.  The offensive line struggled and James Hurst should not play left tackle ever again.  Hurst was bear constantly and plays did not have time to develop.  The running game and passing game suffered.  Grade F

Defensive line:  The Ravens had six sacks, Terrell Suggs, Willie Henry, and Matthew Judon each had two sacks.  The first few drives the Ravens lacked pressure, I tweeted they needed some and the Ravens delivered.  Grade A

Linebackers: This unit was solid, when the defensive line was not their the linebackers got to Packers.  Mosley had a fumble recovery.  Technically Judon and Suggs are linebackers so read how the defensive line did.  Grade A

Secondary: Jimmy Smith, Eric Weddle and Marlon Humphrey all had interceptions that made and impact in the game.  Smith gave up a reception which is rare.  The Ravens have up some yards but never broke.  This unit is the best in the NFL.  Grade A

Special teams: Sam Koch had the best punt in the history of the NFL but it was taken away by a terrible call.  Justin Tucker was perfect.  The Ravens also had some good returns.  Grade A

Coaching staff: The Ravens were ready to play a tough road game coming off their bye week.  Grade A

Overall: Great overall win by the Ravens.  Only bad unit was the offensive line.  Grade A
