Ravens report card: The offense 10/19/2014

wpid-i00000jgrvjltgqa.jpgThe Baltimore Ravens beat the Atlanta Falcons 29 to 7 in a blow out game.  The Ravens offense and defense shined all game.

Quarterback: Joe Flacco had another solid game.  Flacco’s two interactions are forgivable as they were low risk high reward chances.  Flacco still had 258 passing yards with two touchdown passes and a 90 plus quarterback rating.  Grade B

Running backs: Justin Forsett continues to be a beast for the Ravens.  Forsett had 95 rushing yards on 23 attempts.  Bernard Pierce had a touchdown run for the Ravens.  Grade B+

Receivers: Torrey Smith lead the Ravens with three receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown. Owen Daniels had six big catches and Steve Smith had three. Flacco did a good job at spreading the ball around. Solid preformance. Grade B

Offensive Line: The offensive line did a real good job at protecting Flacco. The Ravens leaned on the right side again as they had two rookies on the left side. James Hurst struggled for a second straight week and had several holding penalties that made things difficult for the Ravens offense. Grade B-

Overall: The Ravens offense looked sharp again. Hurst was the one sore spot but the inexperience is an excuse. The Gary Kubiak offense mixed with the Ravens defense is something to watch out for. Grade B+
