Ravens release guard Alex Lewis
The Baltimore Ravens have released Alex Lewis, Lewis announced today on his Instagram account. The Ravens originally drafted Lewis in the fourth round of the 2016 draft.
Lewis was a good guard when healthy and started 10 games last year for the Ravens. Lewis did have trouble staying healthy. In three seasons with the Ravens Lewis only played in 20 and started 18 games.
I am not sure why the Ravens released Lewis so soon.
Here is the tweet from Adam Schefter about Lewis.
