Ravens release first 2018 season depth chart: Analysis

The Baltimore Ravens have released their first depth chart for training camp. This is the official picture of the depth chart from the Baltimore Ravens website.

The telling thing is the quarterback order which all were ready for.  Joe Flacco is the first string at no surprise and Robert Griffen III is number two, first round pick Lamar Jackson is the third string.

Nick Boyle is the first string for the tight ends.  Rookies Mark Andrew’s and Hayden Hurst are at the bottom of the tight end depth chart.  The tight end group is crowded but look for that to change.

The wide receiver group is completely revamped.  The three starting receivers were all signed in the off season.  Michael Crabtree, Willie Snead and John Brown are the starters.  No real surprise there either but it is rare for a team to completely redo a position and it was needed for the Ravens.

The defense has no surprises as most of the Ravens defense is returning from last season.  Special teams is unchanged as well.
