Ravens re-sign Pernell McPhee to a one-year deal
The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed linebacker Pernell McPhee to one-year deal, the Ravens announced today. McPhee finished last season for the Ravens on injured reserve after starting the first seven games. In seven games last season McPhee had three sacks.
McPhee was orginially drafted by the Ravens in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL draft. McPhee was one the Ravens last Super Bowl roster.
When healthy McPhee is a solid defensive player that adds to the pass rush. McPhee has 34 career sacks but has not played a full season since 2014.
The Ravens have committed draft picks and signed several free agents to boost the defensive line. McPhee brings toughness and experience to the Ravens.
