Ravens promote Supernaw

The Baltimore Ravens have promoted tight end Phillip Supernaw from the practice squad.  The Ravens released Ryan Taylor to make room for Supernaw.  It is the second time this season that the Ravens have promoted Supernaw.  Supernaw has been on the Ravens practice squad for most of the season.

The Ravens are down their top two tight ends with Dennis Pitta on injured reserve and Owen Daniels listed as out.  Rookie Crockett Gillmore is expected to make his first start as a Raven.  Supernaw could see a lot of action on Sunday against the Bengals.

The Ravens have a big game against the Bengals and being down on their tight ends will be a test.
