Ravens place Cox on IR
The Baltimore Ravens have placed long snapper Morgan Cox on season ending injured reserve and have signed long snapper Kevin McDermott. Cox tore his ACL late on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
Cox has been the Ravens long snapper since beating out Matt Katula as a rookie in 2010. Cox has been part of a great special teams combination with Justin Tucker and Sam Koch. The Ravens can only hope that McDermott can come in and provide the consistency that Cox has.
