Ravens pick Terrence Brooks with the 79th pick
The Baltimore Ravens have selected free safety Terrence Brooks with their first third round pick. Brooks was take with the number 79th overall pick. This is the first pick that the Ravens have taken that addresses a real need.
Brooks went to Florida State just like the Ravens second round pick Timmy Jernigan. Brooks is a very fast safety running a 4.41 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. Brooks had five interceptions and three forced fumbles at Florida State and helped them win the BCS Championship.
Brooks could start right away at free safety for the Ravens this season.
