Ravens Halftime Report 9/21/2014

20140711-233037-84637590.jpgThe Baltimore Ravens lead the Cleveland Browns 10 to 7 and the Browns will start the ball with the second half. The Ravens came out looking good on offense and choosing to start the game with the ball – which is rare for them.  They had a major injury occur to tight end, Dennis Pitta, as he appeared to injure his right hip on a non-contact play and had to be carted off the field.

Joe Flacco has been sharp, completing 11 of his 15 passes, and has a touchdown with no interceptions. There also hasn’t been a turnover by either team thus far in the game. Lorenzo Taliaferro has been very impressive, already accumulating 81 rushing yards; but it was Kyle Juszczyk who scored the Ravens’ only touchdown.

Defensively the Ravens’ secondary has been suspect but the defensive line has played well. Chris Canty went to the locker room with an injury. The Ravens are holding the Browns to an average of 2.5 yards on the ground.

Let’s hope for good news on Pitta’s injury.
