Ravens draft Orlando Brown Jr.

The Baltimore Ravens selected offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. with the 19th pick in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft. Brown played his college football at Oklahoma. Brown is the son of Ravens great Orlando Brown. Brown Sr. was one of the orginal Ravens.

Brown is a big offensive tackle at 6’8″ 345 pounds. Brown had a disastrous workout at the scouting combine and fell in the draft. The game tape on Brown is much better than his workouts.

Brown is projected to be a starter in the NFL and I think he will be able to start right away. The Ravens are set at left tackle but left guard has been left vacant. The Ravens also just signed James Hurst to a long-term deal and gave him starter money to play right tackle. Brown could be a quick fit in that position.

More to come on the Ravens draft.
