Ravens Cut King and Bring Back Ortiz

Another day, another roster move by the Baltimore Ravens. This time they cut guard Jason King and brought back fullback Ricky Ortiz to the Practice Squad.

King is a six foot four rookie, undrafted out of Perdue. King has not played at all this season and is most likely being cut due to the signing of tackle Andrew Donnal yesterday.

With the extra roster space, the Ravens brought back rookie fullback Ricky Ortiz. Ortiz is also an undrafted rookie and just missed the Ravens’ final roster cut back in August.

There’s nothing really exciting about this move, considering neither players have played a down in the NFL yet. At least we know the reasoning for signing Donnal yesterday was not injury related.
