Ravens agree to two-year deal with McClellan

400px-Albert_McClellan_MT_Stadium_2012_PracticeThe Baltimore Ravens and linebacker Albert McClellan have agreed on a new two-year deal, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.  McClellan is a reserve linebacker and the Ravens special teams ace.

McClellan was an undrafted free agent in 2010 and spent time on the Ravens practice squad his rookie season.  In 2012 McClellan started 11 games and had a sack.

Keeping McClellan is good for the Ravens, he has remained healthy and can do the grunt work on special teams and defense.  McClellan has 47 career tackles and plays very strong.

Details of the contract are not yet available.

Here is the tweet from Wilson on the deal.

Here are McClellan’s stats.
