Ravens add receiver Whalen to depleted wide receiver core
The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver Griff Whalen and have released cornerback Sheldon Price and guard Tony Bergstrom. The Ravens have several injuries to the side receiver core.
Breshad Perriman, Mike Wallace and Jeremy Maclin are all aligning from injuries. Whalen also brings talent to the return game. Whalen was an undrafted free agent who came into the league in 2012. Whalen has over 500 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.
The Ravens hope to get healthy at the wide receiver position soon. The Ravens wide receiver position has been the weakest on the team.
