Preview: Tribe Visit Towson Tigers in CAA Football Showdown

The #17/18 Towson Tigers (4-1, 2-0 CAA) take on the William & Mary Tribe (2-3, 1-1 CAA) this Saturday at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Maryland.

The Tigers have faired well lately against the Tribe, as they have taken the last two match ups, and five of the last six. The two top players to watch on offense for the Tigers are quarterback Tom Flacco, running back Shane Simpson, and wide-out Shane Leatherbury. These three players have helped lead a potent Tiger offense which has also allowed for other players to make contributions, since opposing defenses have to account for where they are at all times. The Tiger offense has been humming the past three games, putting up over 40 points in each of the contests.

A win here would give Towson a 4-game winning streak and allow them to have swept their 3-game home stand.

My Prediction: Tigers keep rolling and win 34-17. Tom Flacco has another stand out performance.
