Penn State Ice Hockey losses Big 10 Semi Final Game 3-2

The Penn State Nittany Lions losses in the Big 10 semi final game to Notre Dame in a heart breaking 3-2 loss. Notre Dame scored the game winning goal with just 30 seconds left of the third period.

Penn State goalie Peyton Jones played an incredible game stopping 47 shots. Notre Dame got the first goal of the game after defensemen Jordan Gross beat Jones from a shot from the blue line.

Penn State eventually tied it in the first, but gave up there lead in the second period. Later sophomore forward Brandon Biro scored on the power play to make it 2-2 in the second.

The third period was a great effort by Penn State outshooting there opponent, but fell short after letting in a goal in the final minute. Penn State is still going to make it to hockey’s version of March Madness, but what seed they will be will be announced net Sunday
