Ovechkin Wins NHL All-Star Hardiest Shot

Alex Ovechkin won the hardest shot for the first time in his career. Ovie registered 101.3 mph shot and was the first forward forward to win the contest since Sergei Fedorov 16 years ago.

Ovechkin jokingly told Jeremy Roenick after his win this is why he trains so hard during the off season.

Ovechkins first shot was registered at 98.8 mph and that shot would’ve won him the contest. Second place was P.K. Subban at 98.7 mph.
